  • Adidas ENERGY BOOST 27 feb 2013 debut!!

Making its debut today, I was so anxious after my work and rush to pick up my partner in crime to dash to the nearest Adidas boutique. Low behold adidas boost !!! 😀

As for the design its very light, and looks like styrofoam. However, with closer inspection you can feel its pretty decent build up of 1000 energy TPE capsule bond together just like a regular EVA on most of current market running shoes.
My partner had a pair to try on, and the experience was an unexplained feeling however it snuggle pretty nicely on her feet. Thanks to the tech-fit technology and seamless design, this shoe can be worn without socks and as proclaimed should not be a blister maker.
Ka-ching, it goes for MYR 550, and my partner faster faster grabbed it :O
I’ve manage to snuggle one, however it wasn’t my size and it was a pretty tight snuggle on my US size 11 feet. Sadly furthermore, all the shoe of my correct size has been pre-booked or sold out!!! arrrggghh so sad… anyway stay tune for more updates tomorrow on the shoe.
Another sad fact is that, the online adidas store has 2 extra color variation and only ships to Singapore….

Oh yea and there is two more models of adidas coming out in August using the same mid-sole BOOST technology.
yup its Adistar Boost & Adios Boost , probably Sonic Boost will be around year end.
Sonic boost reminds me of …
  • The Exiled Realm of Arborea

Since last Tuesday, an MMO just went from Pay to play to Free to play. Yup, its The Exiled Realm of Arborea (TERA). Just like other MMO its has everything like a MMO. However what intrigue me was the battle system.

Lets talk about the world, since I’m just merely scratching the surface. The world is such an eye candy, where the settings changes as you journey across it. From desert Savannah to the lush green forest and not to forget the most darkness abyss of evil. TERA environment does not disappoint thanks to the game’s UNREAL 3 engine.

As for races, there are not 3 standard MMO races (Human, Elves or Orcs) but a FRIGGIN SEVEN races, each with their own racial traits and passive skills. As listed below :-

The Aman, a race of draconian humanoids

The Baraka, a giant, intelligent race
    The Castanics, a demon-like race
The Elins, an innocent nature loving race
    The High Elves
    The Humans
    The animal-like Popori.

The Baraka, Elin, and Popori are gender locked (only male Baraka and Popori, and female Elin exist). Both males and females are playable for the rest of the races. Not to mention the female gender of each races is sexually sexy or loli cuteness. This might attract more virgin gamers into the scene of TERA.

On top of that, the races doesn’t not have restriction to which class to choose from the listing whooping of EIGHT classes. As TERA DEV emphasize on the holy trinity in MMO pretty much alive in this game. As we can see it from the classes range. We have two tank class (Lancer, Warrior) , two melee DD (Berzerker, Slayer) , two range DD (Sorcerer, Archer) , and two healing classes ( Mystic, Priest).

Questing in TERA is very generic where you need to kill number of x monsters or collect x numbers of x items and return it to the quest giver.

Crafting, Gathering, and Enchanting in this game gives many craters a bag for its money where you can mine stuff with imaginary pickax or extracting essence from the palm of your hands. Crafting should be pretty interactive since I’ve yet to explore into it.

Skill and stat based for character progress is pretty linear where there isn’t any much freedom into allotting stats points or skill points into unique builds. However skills get boosted up and a little customization by Glyph which are like additional gems for skill to get more powerful. ( Think about FF7 Materias)

Battle is the most fluid and interactive mechanic I’ve ever played in MMO, up in par with Guild Wars 2 which launch a year ago. TERA is up there in the ranking when it comes to battle scene. Your movements and aiming takes into play of what will the outcome of the battle be by solo or in group.

Dungeon/Instance is very fun where Holy Trinity(Tank, DD, Healer) really feels right, I have yet to enter high level instance therefore thrilled for what is coming next to me.

Community wise, like every P2P mmo went F2P, kiddies around the world wanna get a piece of it, and behold a megaton of trolls, kidrage, kbwarriors, wowfans are being sucked into the realm of TERA.

Overall since its a free just give it a go. My rate towards it would be 7.5/10  due to its wonder presentation of UNREAL ENGINE 3 , battle mechanics, and an awesome BGM

p/s: my IGN is Orztome @ Zuras server add me and I’m a Priest tera-europe

  • Mission Impossibru : Ghost Protocol

Yea, been awhile since I’ve made reviews for movie, so here is one movie which is a must watch for die hard fans of Tom Cruise or any newbies that are not familiar with this franchise.
The movie kicks off, where a new team of IMF infiltrate and initiate a “Prison Break” scheme, with in this few segment of scene. As long you guys watched Shaun of the Dead, then you guys will get the cameo done by Nick Frost together with one of his best buddy, Simon Pegg.
One of their under-rated dark comedy movie which I first watched like 5 years back ago. Highly recommended to those that yet to watch it.
Or the most recent movie, the duo acted was non other than PAUL. Please do your self a favor and go watch this pretty decent comedy movies from the both of them.
Anyway back to MI:GP review, during the appearance of Nick Frost, I totally burst out laughing in the cinema and knew it was gonna be a roller coaster ride for me through the entire movie. Sadly it was just a brief moment screen time for that guy.
The show, balance both sense of humor together with action and a little dash of cheesiness, made it one of the most enjoyable no brainer action pack movie of last year.
Surprisingly, you also get to have a really good look on Tom Cruise which seems like he has not aged over the years. Seriously from the previous movies he acted, my respect for him has been weight over hundred folds more. Further to add, most of the stunt scene is actually done by him.
As the story unfolds, we get to learn that a mastermind had framed IMF into the bombings as well as trying to start World War III. The catch was, that IMF was under a lock down mode called Ghost Protocol, where they are on their own without any out side support, just a train coach of gadgets at their disposal.
The movie is seriously has most of the thrills that will not disappoint movie goers. The one main reason i watched this was because of an early review on Rotten Tomatoes stating that MI:GP was rated 100%
and seriously its worth your bang of money to go and watch it!
Another shocker was watching Anil Kapoor getting the best from the main actress. Boy oh boy that was the most an epic scene. To add, the most unforgettable dialogue, was “but you have to find me” represent the mainstream play of most of the Bollywood movies, where the actor/actress plays hide and seek with each another.
In conclusion, not to spoil the movie further, considered that this has been yet one of Tom Cruise best movie to date for his Mission Impossible movie series. I went into the movie with high expectation, and I really had that exact thrill ride on the movie chair. 9.5/10
(p/s: can’t wait for the next installment so long J.J. Abrams is gonna touch this franchise, I’m so gonna watch it.)
